I started reading this because 1. I’ve always been a fan or Dave Grohl and 2. I read his autobiography a couple of months ago, and his mother played such a big role in his telling of the story that I became interested in this book.
I went into this book just for entertainment but ended up picking up some parenting lessons as well. Our children don’t always follow the path we think they will.

A nice take on how being different is not bad looking at some of our favourite artists through the eyes of their mothers

This was fascinating. Dave Grohl’s mum interviews the mothers of several famous musicians and shares their stories.
I found this to be a new and refreshing viewpoint. It was so interesting to hear how these mums supported their children and the changes in their relationships as they went from garage bands to touring the world.

This was a super fun read. Lots of great stories about some of my favorite musicians and very interesting stories about their moms and history.

This book was so awesome. I love learning unknown stuff about musicians, and I am a fan of most of the artists involved with this so it was like a sneak peek into their lives, told by their mothers. Ms Grohl has a great voice for reading, too.
