This last book fell kind of flat. It was about 100 pages too long, repetitive and so confusing!
The rest of this series was confusing but remained fun and lighthearted whereas this final took the confusion too far and lost its fun edge by tipping a little too stupid.
I highly enjoyed the characters in this series but the ending fell a little flat.

Truly one of the best series I’ve ever read! 10/10! I feel like everything came together in a very good way. I didn’t finish this series feeling like I missed anything and I feel like I have all the pieces to all the puzzles. I’m almost sad to have finished it because I loved all the characters a lot! Hopefully in the future that there is more that can be written about them or they can be included and something else
A twisty, turny, delightful ride
This series took me places I really wasn’t expecting, and I loved every minute. I was left with just a little longing for side character stories, but the story wrapped up well for the main characters. It had a fantastic blend of humor, action, and romance (if a bit twisted sometimes). Definitely worth the time to read.

This was the best trainwreck, rollercoaster, damn slow burn RH monster romance series I have ever read
I have Listened/read to EVERY.SINGLE.WORD in the entire 6 books (well, seven according to the author)
I don't want to write a lengthy review but here are some heads up if you plan on going into this series:
1- The beginning is connected to the end. The beginning is deceiving and everything will be cleared once you reach the end.
2- DO NOT JUDGE ANY CHARACTERS' ARCS especially Violet. She will come up as naive, simple and easy to manipulate. OH BOY you would be surprised!
3- each of the first 5 books is between 260 to 300 pages, except for book 6. It is 580 and this is because the author stated that this is two books in one. Meaning, it was meant to be 7 books.
Does it need to be 7 books? I think so. Every book has a special event that happens in it, and each event is important to the overall story
What I loved
This makes it, hands down, one of the best thought of series I have ever read. It was clear that the author, RIP, has planned and connected each detail.
Things you may be expecting but feel disappointed in
The spice ratio in the series is very low compared to the plot. Personally, I found this perfect. I am sick of books that would sacrifice the plot and story for the 3 SSS
Usually, in an RH romance, some characters would take page time more than others. It is not in this case. Every character in the book is presented in detail. We understand their background, thoughts, and actions.
Things I did not like
Yes, because there is no perfect book, and I do not want a perfect book to be honest.
I did not like that we did not see a lot of Idun's evilness. Yes, she did terrible things, but I did not feel like what she did was as humongously affecting as the characters implied.
The explanation for how Violet came to be was a bit confusing and anti-climaxing. I wished for more explanation.
However, this did not deter how much I loved and enjoyed this book

This is honestly the best book series I have read in a long while. It’s very clear that the end was planned out right from the start of this, and it was so amazing to see this story unfold piece by piece. Im honestly a bit sad that it’s over, but it was definitely worth the adventure.

I loved the multiple POVs. I just had to keep track of who knew what because these characters love keeping secrets.
I really enjoyed it and gave up on a lot of sleep to read it as fast as possible because I needed to know what happened next.

This series is a delicious trip
I love the monsters and the graphic best down. This is definitely my favorite book in the series. I'm sad to say goodbye to these characters. I love the violent and psychotic ghosts.
