Twistedly beautiful

Loved this series so much! CM has become one of my favorite authors (as well as her Kristy Cunning and St. Abby names). This book was a great conclusion to ATPM. The twists and turns throughout the series were suspenseful and enough to keep you on edge. CM definitely knows how to pull the rug out from under you even if you THINK you know what's going to happen. I was a little sad how Anna and Violet's relationship dynamic changed, but I understand why it had to happen. CM once again leaves me saddened to say goodbye to some fantastic characters and a world that is so twisted my beautiful you can't help but wish to walk into eternity with them as well. Great job CM.

Honestly - this book had me biting my nails a little bit, hoping it would work out, a little worried about the big bad evil, and our FMC who is so unassuming but also - badass, sneaky, and not afraid to stand up for herself. I love how it worked out, that the guys underestimated her, because, I can see her making them grovel for years to come (even though it's just in my imagination and not in unlimited epilogues). Btw, the underestimation was not in a negative way imo, but more in a - they all wanted to protect her. So, yeah...maybe they were a little too macho, but she proved that women can be even more badass, but not use their powers for evil. Violet has such a big heart, but isn't afraid to stomp some ass when needed.

This book has some tears, some laughs, and some happy sighs. You should pick it up (but start at book 1!!). Also - be totally prepared for spontaneous o, and some nice edging.

Absolutely loved this series!!

I listened to the audio for this series, and it was so well done! I loved Violet and her men. All the details and world building were awesome! I was consumed by this series and it did not take me long to get through it. I definitely suggest reading!!

My mind is completely and utterly blown. Every zig I thought I knew in this series was a zag...a mind-blowing zag. I'm not sure how these books got better and better as they went...but this was a conclusion I couldn't even have imagined. I absolutely fell in love with the pretty monsters as I followed this series...and I'm heartbroken it is over but ecstatic for answers. This is definitely a series I will be buying in paperback! I plan to reread this series so so many more times!

This is a series to invest in...this is a series that will pop into your head for years to come and demand you revisit this incredible world and crazy tale Kristy/CM has woven for us. I recommend clearing your schedule and to hang on for one wild ride.

Overall, I really enjoyed this book and series. This one in particular dragged in places and was bogged down in ways that I did not notice with the others. There was a lot of information and questions answered. Kudos to the author for the creativity in answering those questions, but this novel really could have been pared down. A lot of pop culture references in this novel that I dont know will stand up to the test of time, but was enjoyable in the here and now. These were the first I've read of this author, so I'm looking forward to reading other books of hers.

And I just have to say that one of my faves in this one was Diva. Loved her.
