Very good and crucially important collection of essays shedding light on medieval cantors, the structure of monasteries, the significance of liturgy in the medieval world and music/chant. It gives a well-rounded view of cantors and medieval history writing that has previously been overlooked. Every chapter is well-written and easy to digest.
