I love this whole series and this one was great. As with the others, this book has wonderful characters and a great storyline.

Great addition to the series! Dana is a great character we were introduced to in previous groups and is part of the great group of friends in the Mesa boys. Nate is introduced into the book by everyone assuming he is homeless however he is running from his family after being betrayed by them after winning the lottery.

Dana is everything that Nate needed because he is ineffective by money and just everything he appears to be. It was very insta-love with minimal angst.

Highly recommend as Christie Gordon's books keep getting better and better!

I enjoyed reading this book, although I didn't really connect at first like I did with the previous books in the series. I think the problem, for me, is that the story, the sentences in the first chapters, felt cut off. I mean, it's like it's written in short sentences and it lacks flow, but as the chapters go on, that smoothes out. And that's the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars.

I liked Dana from his first appearance in the previous books, and Nate was an interesting person. Both, with trust issues, decide to take the leap and embark on a relationship that makes them feel safe as it progresses.

I understand that many might find it strange or unrealistic that a young man earns such a large amount of money or manages himself as he does, or that both, having trust problems, throw themselves headfirst into their relationship, but. ... is a book, a story to entertain and laugh and feel a little. If one wanted a more "realistic" story, one would watch the news or read the newspaper, etc.

I was given an advanced copy and voluntarily wrote a review.

I absolutely loved Nate and Dana together! From their meet-cute to the epilogue, Catching His Name was a sweet read with some emotional roller coasters and some good communication... Nate is enthusiastic, caring and a little lost and Dana is the perfect foil for him - just as caring, but more down to earth and grounded by his upbringing and his past hurts...

I think this was my favourite Mesa Boys book so far - it's a little bit more insta-love than I usually like, but once again, where Nate runs, Dana walks and that made it very sweet... almost as sweet as Dana's chocolate custard... which brings me to my warning - do not read this book while hungry or you'll find yourself with baking plans or a trip to the nearest bakery. There are a couple of other potential triggers - homophobic and racist statements from someone other than the MCs, previous death of a parent and substance abuse issues, again not directly with the MCs.

Overall, this was a great read, well paced and a great chance to catch up a little with the previous couples and get a sneak peak at Jamie's book... I think it's best read in order, but it's a complete story and can be read standalone as well.
