Brilliant and charming. Even if one does not particularly like ASOUE, one should still read this book. It’s very short (I finished it in no more than twenty minutes), and very sweet (in a bitter sort of way).

reading all his bitter little truths again as an adult is like SO true mr snicket you would have done numbers on tumblr! anyway i got this for a buck at a book sale but it's a great reminder to see what daniel handler's been up to and also rewatch pushing daisies

It was only mildly amusing, but I did like a handful of quotes.

A fine little book. It's like a collection of smart Lemony Snicket quotes. The typography is done quite nicely but there could've been done even more with the layout.
