I really enjoyed this story. I adore everything by Winters that I've read so far. Can't wait to see what happens in book 2!

Fun quick read. At t8mes, I felt like the author wad trying to be too snappy in the comments and the storytelling, and it affected the story, but overall, I enjoyed this novel.

Eh, it was ok. The banter got old after a bit. Parts of the story dragged. The antagonist was obvious. The underlying love was nice, but not enough to save the rest of the book. Also, it was a part 1, I prefer standalone books, even if they're part of a bigger overall series.

Such a funny book. I wouldn't expect anything less from Ms. Winters. This book has comedy, drama, paranormal and mystery. Definitely a must read.

I haven't come across a demon as adorable as Havoc ever before. He's funny, a bit crazy and so absolutely adorable. I loved his and Miles' connection and all his snark and naughtiness. I hope the next book comes out soon because I. Can't. Wait.

This snarky irreverent paranormal romance hit all the right notes for me. I always enjoy out of this world creatures that point out the absurdities in ours, which Havoc did in spades. Miles was also a totally lovable character even as he took all the strangeness and brought it to the next level. The world building was a little scattered but it worked for the story. If you are looking for something funny with a side of heart and adventure, this is a great choice.
It's me, not the book. The writing is good, the story interesting. The style of humor just isn't funny to me.
