A very emotional book about life, love, and the challenges that come with both.

An absolutely a beautifully written story that follows the protagonist through his journey of life and the valauble lessons he learns on his way to find the greatest mystery of the universe.

What a lovely lovely story 🥺 I love these types of deep character dives, and the work and care put into these boys and their families was just gorgeous. The tone was somehow gentle even as it dealt with really harsh subject matter in a blunt way. Loved these boys, loved the style. Can't wait to read book two ❤️

feeling ruined and depressed and sad and miserable and angry and mad and terrified how can the writing be so simple yet able to put me in a 360pg breakdown about acceptance and sexuality and emptiness and life meaning and purpose and how am i supposed to go on with my life as if this book didnt destroy me and i too wish i had a dante by my side

This book really does take your breath away. But in a slow, subtle beautiful and somewhat surprising way. At the beginning I was afraid I had too high expectations, but I got what I came for and a lot more. It is sad, funny and sometimes feels almost too real in a way I don't think I have experienced in a book before. You won't regret reading this, no matter who you are.
Maybe this book is one of the secrets of the universe?...

At first the writing and dialogue took a minute to get used to - it’s a bit stiff, a bit formal than most YA books. But eventually I gelled with it and totally bought it as Ari’s personality.

Dante is a sweetheart. Ari deserves the world. Loved these two together. Definitely recommend.
