So far (at the end of Season One), this is a really intriguing and heartwarming tale. The world building is really fascinating and well done, the art is just gorgeous, and the CHARACTERS!! <3 I LOVE the main character — the author does a wonderful job of keeping her true to herself. I cannot get over when she says that she does not have to be like a boy/man in order to be strong!! She is truly smart and kind — both of these traits are integral to her character and are shown in the narrative! I also love her two friends and how their trust and affection grow! I especially appreciate that her platonic relationship with the young men can be physically affectionate without feeling like there is some hidden sexual tension/meaning! Overall, looking forward to seeing how this story continues!
