I own every single Catherine Cowles book she has ever written. I will say I think this is my favorite book of hers but it's hard because I loved Fractured Sky & Wrecked Palace!

I was so excited for Lawson's Story! I knew his book would be good! Lawson has deserved his happily ever after since we met him in Wren & Holt's book. I love Lawsons kids Luke, Drew and Charlie. Drew had me laughing with his teenage antics and Charlie was just do adorable. Then we have Luke who is in that teenage phase of finding himself and I loved the emotions Catherine had Luke face.

Hallie. I absolutely adored Hallie. She has so much strength and determination. It is rare when I love a FMC in a book and I loved Hallie! I loved her instant connection with Lawson and his boys. Charlie pulled at Hallie's heartstrings, Drew made her laugh and Luke..the way she could read and understand Luke was everything. I loved how she helped Luke in ways he didn't know he needed and how other's saw the change in him as well.

This was just the perfect ending for this series and I wish I could get a glimpse into more of Lawson and Hallies life with the new additions!

It had all my favorite things. Single hot dad, nanny, age gap romance. Plus a mystery on the side?
Sign me the hell up!
I literally devoured this in one day. And maybe it’s the mood reader in me giving it five stars. But I couldn’t put it down.

This one was my favorite of the series. I loved how protective Lawson was and the way he loved his kids and Hallie. I enjoyed the mystery because the villain has always given me bad vibes.
