wow. it was such an amazing read. i felt like if i was flashed back to my childhood with all the boy bands, songs and even that remind to talk on the phone after 9pm LMFAO! i loved both Cal’s and Laynee’s character development and seeing their own POV throughout their years. this was a great personally a great read for me.

honestly didn’t like this book that much, like the characters actions were complete opposite to what they thought or believed.

I was gifted this book as an arc which meant I immediately put everything on hold to be able to read this book before it was released. and I am so glad I did.
Cal and Laylee met one summer, in north carolina where they both own holiday homes. the book follows their lives each summer (and a few short chapters of in between) up until their 18. Cal books a plane ticket to come and visit Laynee but never shows. They have little communication after that, but do meet for one night at a hotel
