I really enjoyed like the first third of it, but then it just got more and more boring. Around track 80 the creator gave up and introduced four more characters (a different polycule, this time made of girls who mirror the personalities of guys), which felt like it destroyed the whole idea of "four guys in a polycule just hanging out together being boyfriends". Them having flat personalities was not a problem for the first third too, but then it just got a bit annoying, since stuff around them was evolving.
Also, again, after the first third I thought that it would have been basically the same if they were just friends and not involved with each other romantically/sexually. There was also the whole problem with the fact, that initial relationships existed for like two seconds just to move to the polycule and that part seemed really not thought through.
At season two writing got much worse. Suddenly, it was just "Translation: He is too tsundere", which is the most tiring thing to see, no one needs to be taught what tsundere is, if they are reading about a gay polycule for over 100 episodes, they already know and get it. The later in the series we go, the worse it gets.
This also did not seem like a really good division of time between characters, it felt like story about Prep and his boyfriends and not about all of them equally there.
Like 20 episodes into the second season it seems like the creator understood, that they can explore stories, that are longer than a single episode, which just led to timing being all over the place and it feeling way slower.
This seems a lot like a webtoon that is made by a fan for fans and seeing that the author is pretty successful at making money out of it with patreon and merch, I can only guess that they are rather good at that, so it is really not my place to judge since other people enjoy this so much, this was just not a webtoon for me.
