If light and fluffy is your thing, this book is for you! It started off all cutesy then went a little soft erotic on me lol my first time reading from these authors so didn’t know what to expect. I love the recipes they include with each story and love how it’s set in the same town so you pickup on the crossover of establishments and characters. It’s a good break from my mystery and thriller books plus these small towns sound like another dimension. Also random but I cringed in some parts over how cheesy they were but hey, it’s the theme of the series so rolled with it. Kinda like a Hallmark movie, you know it’s not real life but it’s there for your entertainment. Also I disliked how Cassie treated Chip, she exhibits some toxic behaviors and he deserves someone that won’t belittle him or play mind games but c’set la vie. Great book for the autumn season and fans of Halloween!
Minor: Sexual content, Classism, Cursing, and Emotional abuse
