Started and finished this in a day. I love a crime mystery set in Scandinavia.

I really liked the multiple perspectives and that they were broken apart in each section of the book.

I would have given this five stars but I always feel uncomfortable reading about SA and this book has multiple occasions of that

A 3 star read for me about a young 18 year old girl who is charged with murdering an older man. Told from the viewpoints of her father, a minister, the girl herself and her mother a lawyer it certainly made you think about how different people perceive different situations and what really is the truth.
I was a great plot but it didn't grip me like I hoped it would and once I moved onto the third part told by the mother I had lost some of the interest I had earlier on.
I found the family dynamics quite unsettling and overall was on okay read for me.

absolutely phenomenal work from edvardsson. the reality of just how far parents will go to protect their children and how friends will save eachother. i hung onto his every word, never knowing what would happen next. i was beyond impressed that anytime i thought i might be able to guess what the next plot twist would be, i was proven wrong every time, i loved it. this is one i would recommend to anyone wanting to get into psychological thrillers. while i would say mind the trigger warnings, edvardsson does a wonderful job at displaying these horrific crimes the way they should be: nothing but the truth.

Listened to this on Audible. Great narration. Entertaining book. Loved hearing the points of view of each main character. Especially enjoyed the ending. Kept me guessing the whole time

A bit predictable and sometimes repetitive due to the same story being told by three different perspectives. I didn’t really connect with any of the characters but I was entertained and wanted to know what actually happened.
