This book is one of my favorite tropes, brother's best friend! I loved Shay and Easton. I couldn't put their book down it was so great! I definitely need to read the rest of this series after finishing this book, especially if they are as good as this story was!

I randomly started reading this book on Facebook. I had no idea what it was, then when I wanted to keep reading past chapter 2 it took me to a fanfiction site that was extremely irritating. I finally looked it up to see if I could actually purchase the book and got it on Kindle.

Although it's the last or most recent book in the Boys of Jackson Harbor series, this is the first book that I've read not just in the series but by Lexi Ryan. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I loved the way Ryan went from present to past to give us the story behind Shay and Easton. And even though it was a total emotional rollercoaster, I don't think I would have enjoyed it any other way.

I don't want to tell the story but I will say that I like the way it ended and I liked that although it's an HEA, it's not traditional and that just makes it more realistic to me.

I have definitely put the other books on my TBR list, but I have so many others that I want to read that I'm not really sure when I will get to them. I will say that if I do randomly come across another Lexi Ryan book, I won't hesitate to read it.

Perfect

As always, lexi makes me laugh and cry all on the same page of a book. Great conclusion to a series, but I'm always left wanting more.

And finally for the only girl in the clan, Shayleigh. With five brothers it's not hard to believe Shay has the ability to hold her own. She's been protected her entire life and fell in love with her brothers best friend when she was seven. But really who thinks that it will work out in the end?
Easton has always been bigger than life, with an amazing NFL career he's ready to get back to normal. Will it finally be the time for him and Shay to have their moment? Or will life continue to keep them from happily ever after...

Meh. Definitely my least favorite of the series. I enjoyed the other books. The story was way too much drama and not enough actual establishment of a relationship. The going back in time so many times was also annoying.
Towards the end when Shay’s sickness was being diagnosed I really hoped it wasn’t going to go the way I thought it would. But it unfortunately did. It just seemed like a really lazy story line and I felt like Easton got the shit end of the deal on everything. Overall I was disappointed in the story and did not enjoy it like the others.
