this book was a ROLLERCOASTER. i honestly hated it until the very end, not because the writing was bad, i loved the writing, but just because the story just kept on getting worse and worse until the last 70 pages or so when I finally enjoyed reading it. Honestly even tho it was such an emotional read, i think everyone should give it it a try

I think Walls tells her story in a raw and honest way. You get a deep understanding of her tough childhood and the challenges she faced. It's all there.

Eventhough the writing was simple, it really digs deep into her life, giving you a full picture of her journey. The way she puts it all together is well thought and organized.

The book will give you some real wisdom about resilience, family dynamics, and going after your dreams. It's all there for you to soak in and apply to your own life.

Overall The Glass Castle is a powerful memoir that tells the nomad life of Jeannette Walls. It's wonderful to read how children of immature parents can turned out to be smart and pretty successful.
