If you’re on the fence, hurdle it.

What a great rom-com. It gave me everything I wanted in a book. It was light and funny but sprinkled with drama. The author did a really great job of making these characters well rounded. If you enjoy romance with comedic flares then this book is for you, I promise.

LJ didn't even try with this "book", Messy Nessy are you kidding me is this kindergarten. This is yet other Vicious /Emilia and Persephone / Cillian repacked because that all she knows. Can someone tell LJ to go in retirement please.

Loved it

I thoroughly enjoyed this. What a breath of fresh air after reading so many predictable romances lately! This was witty, laugh out loud funny, angsty and swooningly romantic. All the ingredients of a good romance were there, including two likeable but flawed main characters and a Hollywood worthy public declaration of love at the end. It could have been schmaltzy, but it wasn't. Read it and enjoy.

This book made me laugh time and time again! I absolutely hated both of the main character’s families but their relationship and banter made it worth enduring. LJ Shen did a great job of really making me feel something for all the characters introduced.

It was my first taste of this author and I’m already onto my next read by them!

Fucking LOVED this book!! Fun read with lots of bullshit but was worth it.

Be prepared though
99% of the book the FMC has no backbone… but tbh I get it - she was surrounded by assholes.

FMC’s family did not deserve her. Fuck them and her child's father.

Obsessed with the MMC - he was down soo bad *swoooon*

This book was AMAZING! For once the guy is a good guy from jump street. Side note, if we could all have ourselves a Cruz, the world would be a better place! I loved how REAL and down to earth Tennessee is.

This book dabbled with teenage pregnancy and all of the drama that surrounds that, small town drama, and a single mom getting her happily ever after.

I personally loved how LJ shows you that you should never judge a book by it cover. Love doesn’t discriminate and never worry about someone else’s opinions on your life, live for you (that’s EXACTLY what Tennessee and Cruz did!).

If you want to read a book where the author has you belly laughing and falling in love with the characters and their story, look no further, LJ is your girl and this is your book! LJ’s character development and story line is ALWAYS on point, you won’t be disappointed!
