An interesting group of neurological cases and case studies, which is somewhat dated, but has a merit of simplicity.

L'ho trovato noioso, ripetitivo e pieno di tecnicismi non adatti al lettore medio, che l'hanno reso pesantissimo, sconsigliato se non per qualche capitolo

this was pretty interesting! definitely some dated terminology, but hey, it is what it is. the book is written quite sympathetically for being written so long ago.
i would not listen to this as an audiobook. the author makes a lot of oblique references and uses pretty advanced terminology that i would’ve liked to have been able to look up as a i read. still liked it even without this context though, and his writing style was really beautiful if a little flowery

Not what I was expecting. Fairly dated and some of the language is cringey now.
Although I was familiar with most of the conditions discussed in the book, I found Sacks’s philosophical and very humane approach rather original and often rather moving.
