While this was interesting, it had a lot of dated examples that I don't think work well to describe things in today's economy.

"For those who are willing to stop and think, basic economics provides some tools for evaluating policies and proposals in terms of their logical implications and empirical consequences. If this book has contributed to that end, then it has succeeded in its mission."

It took me seven-ish months to finish this audiobook, but it was worth it. I highly recommend this book to people interested in learning the basics of economics, especially with regard to applying those principles to politics.
