I’m literally crying right now
I enjoyed reading this book and would recommend it to anyone that enjoyed the first three books in the series. BUT, I’m not sure I actually understood a lot of what happened.
1. I had trouble keeping all the characters straight.
2. There were lots of twists and turns figuring out who’s part of The Masters but in the end, the author reveals the head Master almost without any explanation. Like all the work leading up to it didn’t matter.
3. I still don’t understand what she means when referring to people as “five” or “nine.”

Je suis trop triste, vraiment ce livre il est là pour abattre. Ils me font tous trop de la peine. L’auteure elle veut nous détruire. Honnêtement les 100 premières pages je m’ennuyais un peu puis des qu’ils arrivent dans la ville de Nightshade c’est juste incroyable. Et la fin mais OMGG. Déjà la mère de Cassie qui a une double personnalité je l’avais pas vu venir. Cassie qui a confiance en ses amis, et sa mère qui a confiance en elle. Le directeur qui est un traitre. Le fbi qui arrive 5 SECONDES après que Cassie soit forcé de tuer sa mere. Le directeur qui est le géniteur de Laurel. Veronica qui doit tuer le directeur (SON PÈRE). Rien ne va, tout est horrible.

Super satisfying ending to the series! Also CRAZY ending to the series, and I loved it. Well, as much as you can love a murder mystery book lol. It was all really nicely woven together and definitely worth the read.
