Very cool very short story. Read the 4 page PDF. Makes me want to read more Bradbury.

There's not much I can say here. Powerful, and tragic but still great.

I thought the story was very unique and well written and you really sympathize with Margot. The story was q very quick and unique read. Bradbury did a great job in describing the setting in great detail without making it boring or unnecessary. I also think the characters were well developed. And this was my third time reading it. Although I think it deserves more of a 4.5 I'm not going to downgrade it to 4 stars.

I enjoy Bradbury's imagination and writing style for the most part. I am now convinced that I just don't particularly like short stories in general. I want to lose myself in a world over a more extended length of reading time. But I enjoyed these. Also was pleasantly surprised to discover that the short story which was the basis of the TV show The Whispers was in this anthology.

I don't think it stands up next to my other five star ratings, however considering the length of this story it packs quite a large punch.

Poor, poor Margot.

I hope she punched that kid in the face.

As always, Bradbury's writing is fine-tuned in this very short story about a group of school children living on Venus who do not recall what the sun looks or feels like. Also expected of Bradbury is his particular talent for reminding readers that a story about people that is set in a science fiction universe is still a story about people. Read Bradbury's writings and pass them along.
