I really enjoyed this book! I was hesitant to start this book because of how we met this character in the previous book, but the subject matter was dealt with very well. I loved both of our characters, and the plot that supported them. Overall, definitely a recommend!

The main characters’ banter in the beginning before they meet was cute, but I started to dislike Jason toward the end and how the main conflict was handled.

i loved the way jimenez portrayed finding love after grief of losing a loved one. it was realistic and its unpredictability was so fitting. i also loved the way she incorporated maltreatment by music industries and a glimpse into the realities of carrying that much fame; it was rly interesting to me since i hadnt been exposed to much of that. this one is ranked a bit lower bc i honestly didnt like how jason reacted in the climax of the plot 😭😭 sighh still a good book and i love abby jimenez. i probably won’t be reading the last of this series bc we met the mc of that novel for like 2 lines max.
