It was okay. I guess I expected more out of it? Like it talked about pack politics a lot which was confusing. The noncon turning of Oliver was messed up. Also, tbh disappointed they didn’t all have sex together. This is my first reverse harem book so I guess my expectations were high

This story is a masterclass in having high drama at all times. Onyx Awakened is an MMFM RH multi-POV romance (if you know what all this means, you’ll definitely like the book) with shifters and fated mates. Valkyrie is the alpha’s daughter and although she has played the good daughter, she is ready to set out on her own. Nova, Oren, and Oliver (our MMCs) are all distinct and endearing in their own ways. Their interpersonal dynamics are a main point of drama as well as personal growth and a looming external threat.
*Originality: 5/5* I especially enjoyed reading about Chaos and I’m sure there’s more to know here

Great Read!
I really enjoyed this book! There’s just enough drama, a little bit of angst, and a lot of love! The characters each bring something different to the table and truly make one another whole. Quell does an amazing job with paranormal writing I truly enjoy all of her books I’ve read so far!

I enjoyed this book, about finding mates while fighting for independence. The Character development was well done. The main characters had pain in their past, but eventually accepted the love they have together. I enjoyed Valkyrie’s strength and willing to accept help when needed. She wanted to experience the world, but she got so much more. I also liked how Nova’s character grew throughout the story to become what he wanted for so long. The plot draws you in, you want to see how every new piece of information they receive or trouble they face moves them towards their goals. I highly recommend this book, especially if you enjoy shifter books. I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

What a wonderful book! This was such a great shifter romance with some sexy times, an interesting wolf storyline, and a really great all-around story!
Quell T. Fox added a really unique twist to this shifter book! I loved the concept of Chaos, is so different than anything else I read and it added a really interesting layer to the story. I also really loved the dynamic between the 4 main characters. Their personalities each so different but meshed so well. And wowza was the chemistry off the charts, even more so, their connections in general were outstanding! The suspense, anticipation, sexual tension all amounted to a wonderful story that drew me in, made me fall in love with the main characters, and had me very satisfied with the HEA at the end <3
