I devoured this book and absolutely loved every moment of it. Good pace and plot, strong FMC and a lovely MMC. There is a lot of character development as well as many plot twists. That ending was pretty shocking and left me with lots of conflicting feelings. There is plenty of banter between the main characters and one main open door spicy scene. It's a slow burn romance so buckle up because you'll definitely be left with wanting more.

I really enjoyed this book and all it had to offer. I listened to this and the voice actor on audible is great. I absolutely hate writers that choose to create a weak woman for their main character who relies on men to do things for her but despite being surrounded by vampires as a human, our main character does far more than just take care of herself. The romance has great chemistry but it is not the main focus of the plot which I appreciate. The ending of the book did feel like a clump of plot and world building as well as tying things up for the next book so it wasn’t my favorite way to finish things off but, this book really held my attention and I’m excited to read the second.
