The best ending of an amazing series! Why did it have to end?
Loved it
Second time reading through the whole series. Still loved it as much as I loved it before. Cute and funny.

We don’t read this for the main couple, we read it for more Max. This book gives more epilogue for the first three beautiful boys when Pippa comes stateside and meets Ruby’s in laws and friends. She also meets Jensen who has become a recluse since his disaster of a marriage. When a group of them go on a winery tour they run into his ex wife with her new husband. Jensen panics and calls Pippa his wife.
I didn’t feel the bond between these two. I liked Pippa individually and appreciated Jensen’s personal growth but as a pair they didn’t do it for me.
Overall Book ⭐️⭐️

It was the typical "Boy meets girl, boy & girl clash, fall in love in less than a month, get over years worth of issues in the same amount of time, boy and girl have a misunderstanding, boy & girl pine over each other while separated, boy or girl apologizes, boy and girl make up."Que happily ever after.
It was not my favorite of the series and only got 4 stars because of the reunion of all the other characters.

• 5th and final main volume on the Beautiful Bastard series (excluding the novellas - those aren't that important). I appreciate the fact it also gave the readers epilogues for all the couples' decisions regarding their futures 😍
• My main love about this series is the friendship built between all the couples, they go like adopting the later pairs into the group and it's fantastic 💕
In this book we get a final couple, Pippa & Jensen. She showed up in the previous book as Ruby's work bff and he showed up in book three as Hanna's older brother.
• The main plot is a road trip wine tour organised by Hanna with her man Will, joined by Ruby and Niall and to finish this with a bow... The girls invited Pippa & Jensen at the last minute and both end up meeting on the plane from London to Boston which leaves bad first impressions 😅
• It's obvious the two are the only single people on that vacation and there's some pressure from the friends for them to hook up. Pippa is a hurricane of fun and a free spirit that wants to get away from London for a bit. Jensen is a workaholic divorced man that hasn't had fun, a relationship or a vacation in a long time (the authors got something for divorced men - two in a row).
• This is a cozy autumn read, but the vacation trope worked just fine now during summer. We get tons of crossovers from the other couples and some favourite tropes: forced proximity, a little bit of fake marriage, one bed...
• My only problems with the book were: the usual trouble that the authors throw close to the end - this time it was just absurd for all the character development they worked for 🤦🏻♀️ And the spice was almost gone, they tried to write a "quiet man" and that made the scenes short with no dialogues and too much inner monologues - didn't fit much with the series' vibe 🤔

I'm so sad!
I can't believe this is the last in the series. I just love these people, and am so happy to have been able to see them all through to the end. Love and thanks to C&L for this fantastic journey, that all began in a little community and grew into something amazing.
