Brosh’s humorous ability to describe self-consciousness is so good that I actually felt more anxious reading this book. I wish, though, that she could take her astute lens on human struggle and focus more of it on the bigger world outside of her own mind.
A cute, quick, surprisingly emotional read. This was my first dive into any kind of graphic novel, and it was delightful! While it had poignant and sad moments, it also made me cry laughing on several occasions.
This book made me laugh so much. I especially liked the last chapter bc it described self-love in such a simple and genuine way.
I have mentioned in my review of her previous book that I love Allie Brosh.
I ordered this as soon as it became available.
I always read her books cover to cover as I would any other. This is a journey which seems way less coherent in places and much more scrambled than her first book...but then it hits you with why. I cried twice while reading this, I'm not ashamed to admit.
Her work is always so much deeper than it may first appear to people.

There's so much to relate to that sometimes it hurts, but overall it's great that there's someone who can take a funny outlook on most everything for me so I can laugh at myself as well. The last chapter seems quite important overall. I like that it ended on that.

Loved this. The art is phenomenal and hilarious, and the stories are so meaningful in their insignificance. I can’t wait to find out when she sees her five-year-old neighbor’s room.
Man, Brosh has been through a lot, and I feel for her! Which is why I feel a little guilty giving this collection of stories three stars. It made me laugh out loud more than a few times, but some of the stories just didn't translate well to this graphic-novel format, or seemed like filler. Yet even with those critiques, I think this book is kind of amazing: It's messy and weird and successfully conveys Brosh's unique but relatable thoughts. So, I guess I'm leaning more 3.5 stars!
Incredible. Real. Relatable. Laugh out loud funny. Tear inducing. Loved it start to finish.
