Everything that happens in the fall is wrong in this book. Apples turn orange and pumpkins turn red. Fun read-aloud for all ages.
What a fun book! Just imagine sitting with your child, both of you giggling uncontrollably, while you go page by page, hearing squeals of "No, Mommy, that's not right!"
It's similar to the silliness of Sandra Boynton's [b:Blue Hat, Green Hat|252268|Blue Hat, Green Hat|Sandra Boynton|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1437840712l/252268._SX50_.jpg|706134] with a fun fall twist.

A fun book for Fall and a great book for elementary kids. They have a fun time figuring out all the wrong and mixed up things in the story and the illustrations. If you are doing it as a read aloud, make sure you practice as some words don't want to roll of the tongue (i.e. Nocember).
This book talks about all of the wonderful things that happen in fall, from holidays to traditions to weather. The narrator seems to be a little mixed up though and he can't seem to get all of his facts straight. The book is a fun way to discuss fall and all of its wonderful aspects with your child, especially when the book acknowledges that it may have gotten some facts wrong at the end and asks you to go back and check everything. The illustrations are witty and detailed and the book begs for rereading.
This book would be very confusing for young children. I think a child would have to be in school before it made too much sense. But it is fun because everything is changed around such as bears gathering nuts, geese hibernating, and squirrels flying south.
