While Fear was far from the best book in the series, it certainly sets up for one heck of a finale.
Spoiler I mean, how exactly do they intend to tell Panda's parents that they ate him? How is Diana going to tell her parents that she gave birth to literal darkness incarnate?

I stayed up way too late and put off a lot of homework to finish this today. Worth it.

Solid 4 stars.

Although there are a couple of little inconsistencies that bugged me, overall this was a strong penultimate book in the series. There were more disturbing deaths of characters we've followed for multiple books, some nice revelations that give glimpses of where the story can go, and a lot of possibilities that seem like they'll be hard to wrap up in the final book.

It might be because I read this one as an audiobook thanks to a quirk of my library, but I enjoyed it a little bit more than the other ones.

This was my favorite book out of the series! The buildup was amazing and it was action packed. I honestly hated Sam and Astrid’s relationship until this book as well. It gave more depth to them. I also started to really enjoy Caine and Diana as well.

Without a doubt, this is one of the most violent YA series of books I have ever read. Strangely compelling; good match for reluctant readers.

I couldn't start the next book because i found that books just seems to lag on with the whole story of kids locked in a dome.
