This book was funny, quirky, emotional, tense, sad and wonderful. I'm invested in this universe now.

My major con lied in Wes and his spararicness; it made his character come across as immature most of the time and unlikable the rest.

I will read more by this author in the future.

I wanted a cute and funny story with vampires, well I didn't expect THAT, it's so much more !
The characters are incredibly cute and relatable (my heart ached so much with Vincent's anxiety and lack of self confidence) The plot is well rounded and has space to (probably...? 😁) continue on the next books of the series. Books that I will absolutely read.
It's a fast read, 2 days for me but I already miss the characters like old friends. Yes to vampires with anxiety and timidity who grow and heal 🖤

My only enjoyment of this book was my fang kink. The descriptions of the bites were hot, but that was all I enjoyed. The characters did not feel endearing since all they did was complain about how life was hard and didn’t make steps to fix it. I understand depression can suck, but this felt a little flat. Additionally Kendall being a lesbian felt like a Gay™️ saying that they aren’t homophobic (she was lesbian in label only, there wasn’t any material reason for her to be that other than a diversity quota)
