As far as lore books go, it's literally perfect, no notes.
Cannot WAIT to get my hands on Vol. 2 and 3.

Lots of valuable info about the world of FFXIV, lots of illustrations as well, and some plot recaps. Eager for the second volume, I will admit! Maybe I'll get it with my Christmas money.

Probably the best lore books I've ever read, across the board. The quality of the book physically is incredible but there's so much lore and art jampacked into these volumes - which unfortunately isn't always the case with lore books. Absolutely adored reading this and certain sections hit different after finishing Endwalker. If you enjoy FFXIV, you need to give these volumes a shot.

THIS IS NICHE AF AND PROBABLY BIASED BUT.....
But a must-buy/must-read for anyone remotely interested in a deep dive into the lore of XIV. First volume covers lore from patches 1.0 to 3.55 (original 2010 release until the release of Stormblood). Wonderful reference material for speculations, roleplay, and takes being reference material pretty seriously.
Also, this book was designed WITHOUT a barcode or any sort of sales material on the cover itself to preserve the image of being an actual written tome of the world itself. KOJI FOX IS A MAN AFTER MINE OWN HEART.
