Enjoyable anthropomorphic adventure tale, the first in a series, which has depth of plot as well as characters, and should be enjoyed by all ages. Worth reading, and really worth reading a second time.

I highly recommend this book to read to children. High quality descriptive writing and story telling. Amazing hilarious characters and world.
My kids (5 and 7) were completely engaged in the story and howled with laughter. I think it would appeal to a wide variety of ages too- probably from about age 4 to 12 or beyond.

Such a great read aloud! The language is a delight. The story is sweet, but full of action. Highly recommend.
