Iconic finale of an amazing trilogy. Fantastic world, dragons and a lovely written plot about the different sides of war and revolution - not to forget the romance overcoming it all

this is such a satisfying conclusion after the angst-fest that was flamefall. i thoroughly enjoyed annie’s character development and the arcs of the side characters (ESPECIALLY power). would’ve loved to see what the other guardians are up to at the end! i also did have problems with the unbalanced pacing - the ending was rushed and the middle dragged.

still, this series does a great job of dealing with the struggles that come with uprooting deeply ingrained systems of oppression while trying to build newer, fairer systems. definitely deserves more hype!
