TW: extreme cliches and cheesiness

Ok so like, this book is objectively not the best, but I loved so.....

I read this for the 2020 Reading Rush prompt read a book that inspired a movie you have already seen. The Disney Channel Original Movie Avalon High is one of my favorite dumb cheesy movies, so when I found this book, I knew I wanted to read it and it would be perfect for this challenge.
This book and the movie are so different. Pretty much all of the details are completely different. Only some of the names are the same. And the plot....... barely even similar. This is possibly as bad as the Percy Jackson movie adaptations as far as accuracy to the books goes.

Overall, I still like both the book and the movie because they both took an interesting prompt and made good stories from it. I will say that the book makes a lot more sense plot wise.

All in all a positive experience.

I wish that Meg Cabot had written a sequel to the book rather than attempt a manga adaptation. All the manga did was heap frustration on disappointment. I do not recommend this manga series, but I highly recommend the book.

So the aventure of Avalon High continues in this second manga. What can happen worse than Morgan wanting to destroy her chances as homecoming Queen? What about Marco's return?

Obviously, things are just getting complicated... well more complicated.

I really liked it. Like I said for the first one, I'm glad that Meg Cabot decided to use manga to continue this story. The pictures show words that are not said and word describe what can't be seen. It's the best way to put this.

Now, unto the third and final manga of the series.

I was listening to the audiobook of this but it was on my iPod that got stolen awhile ago. But it didn't really grab me enough to make me want to re-acquire it. SORRY MEG.

Not bad, a little boring. The art style is pretty weird at times

Is it manga or where the story has gone, I'm not sure, but this also isn't doing much for me. Dunno what else to say about it.
