I wanted to adore this, but as someone who has experienced the depth of characterization that Jaigirdar can write, this didn't quite hit the mark.

Really wanted to love this, a heist with ladies sounded so fun but a couple of things I really didn't enjoy

Unfortunately I really struggled to tell apart who's pov I was reading as they felt very similar, I also found the heist itself a little lackluster and a bit of a drag. I was hoping for more of a criminal vibe tbh rather than a 'we're good people but we're going to do this one job'

Spoilers ✨✨✨

I really didn't like how the countdown seemed to be for 'the big kiss' rather than when the iceberg is hit. I do think the book was pretty respectful in that aspect but I didn't like this being what the countdown was for

I have to be a masochist because I EAT UP every single thing that has to do with the Titanic, but my heart is left so heavy every single time. The story of these four young girls on this ship filled my soul in so many ways. Them taking identities of other passengers and nobody having any record of them having been on board at all was such a likeness to Jack Dawson that it made me smile. The tragedy of the Titanic is utterly heartbreaking. The stories that have come out of it are.. something special.
