ok talk abt a quick read cause i started this like 1 hour ago and finished it so like… ok, but i’m here for it. it was cute and i honestly enjoyed it from beginning to end mostly because i LOVE MEN GROVELING AND KNIWING WHEN THEY ARE WRONG because like coke on, it’s the best. some moments were sooooo cute others were mid so i’m giving this a 3 BUT ONLY because it was kinda same old same old :)

Absolutely loved this book
Let me start off by saying as a married woman whose seen some challenges in her marriage and was forced to evolve, I found this book extremely relatable and felt their struggles. Dominic and Alé's book wasn't a traditional boy meets girl, girl falls in love with boy story, it showed the hardships of being in an established relationship that you both changed in and how not just one party could evolve from both had type situation. Marriages are hard and they aren’t a 50/50 like most people tell you and this book demonstrates that to the letter. It had me in tears and made me smile at times and it was a nice change from the boy meets girl books I have been reading.

Listening to the series in audiobook and even though the audiobook made me appreciate and like King of Pride, it made me loathe this one. So difficult to get through had to leave on hold for several days and force myself to listen to the last few chapters…

This is my very first second chance romance book and Ana Huang did not disappoint. I felt so many different emotions while reading this and it honestly felt like I was in the world of Dominic and Alessandra. The backstories gave me a really good insight in regards of who, why, and what.
