Different story but the impact was good. So in this one we follow the story of Alessandra and Dominic and let me say that i absolutely loved this one. The perspective i had of Dominic from the previous books was what you would expect, i thought he was just another dude who didn't appreciate his wife, or maybe they're marriage was an arranged one maybe, but to learn that they actually have been together since college... it was hard to read those first chapters. When you marry the suppose love of our life and expect the happiest times of your life, for it to turn to a whole life of broken promises and space that you didn't want... that is a realistic thing that actually happens to a lot of couples. What i did love was to have the best outcome of this, Alessandra was unhappy and lost in her life alone, so she left after years of taking her husband absence and broken promises. Loved this, i understand wanting to have a good career, but to completely neglect your significant other and take them for granted, not okay. I do, however, understand Dominic's side in the sense of the paranoia and what if everything fails and he has to live in poverty once again, but to completely neglect the person that you claim is the one person you can't live without...? Well...

I am very happy with development they had, also loved that Dominic started respecting her wishes more and more with the progression of the story, and in the end it was all up to Alessandra to make the final decisions. But i just wanna say... giving your adress to a guy you met from a dating app, most unrealistic and naive thing i have ever seen.

Dominic grew on me, specially with his words and after that, with his actions. Loved this story for Alessandra, it's never to late to find yourself and discover what you want to do with your life, even if that means you have to start over again and again.

This is one of the first books that I’ve read that have truly held my heart. Truly one of my favorites! Ale and Dom are probably the most relatable to a lot of people out of the Ana Huang “bookverse” and I’m sure that reading a story that relates to so many people probably opened a lot of eyes to their own experiences. It’s truly one of those stories of what a lot of people wished happened in real life (billionaire husband included lol) I truly enjoyed the chase and the yearning and also the reasons why Ale didn’t want to go back. I’ll always recommend this book, one of my 6⭐️ reads!

Quiero agradecer a Madre Ana Huang por hacerme llorar durante las primeras 30 páginas y muchas más veces a lo largo del libro. Free therapy fr.
