I wanted to love this book, and I did like it, but I swear that nothing of substance actually happened. Most of the book is spent searching for an item, but there is so little time actually spent searching for said item. If that time was spent on really diving into the characters and getting to know them better, I could have gotten behind that, but instead of actual character development, it was mostly sex. I feel like for the length of the book, a bit more should have happened, or we should have gotten to know the characters better
For the good stuff: this book was entertaining. I like the characters overall, and the writing was pretty good. I am excited to see where the story goes next.

Kinda dissapointed with this sequel. I was pumped reading the first book. But this one took me much longer to get through. The first 50% of this book was booooooooring, my eyes nearly popped out because everytime Nadir said "Inmate", I have to roll my eyes. Like.... JEEEZZZZZZZZ!
Mostly, this book was spent with Lor arguing with Nadir. Repeating on a constant loop that she doesn’t like him or need him or giving him a great BJ. *again rolling my eyes*

💜 Rule of the Aurora King 💜

I loved Book 1 (Trial of the Sun Queen) of the Artefacts of Ouranos by series by Nisha J Tuli and this second book did not disappoint. The series is getting better as the story evolves.

This series has great fantasy, different environments with different magic, love stories, family drama, betrayal, a strong FMC that I actually love and who hasn’t annoyed me at all!! It also has a great supporting cast and characters that you love to hate. It’s dual POV and even has a third one in the end of this book. There’s a history with mystery and hidden identities and I can’t wait to get into the next book!

The narrators Corvin King and Soneela Nankani are great too! I love their voices with these characters, they just fit!

If you’re looking for an easy and entertaining fantasy finished series to listen to, this is the one you want!!!
