A little too much unresolved angst and pining. I got annoyed with Lor’s hot and cold reactions to Nadir, though he really should stop saying “you’re mine” and everything seems like it would resolve.

I am so mad that I read this book so fast because now I have to wait an entire year to have some answers to my million and one questions. Boy this author knows how to leave off on a cliff hanger and leaving with just enough questions to make you want so much more. I need to know what happens next. I need to know what happened with Serce and Wolf and how everything went to ruin. Also, how did Atlas become the sun king? I need to know so many things. I love Lor and Nadir. I really hope they find their way through things. In the next book I also hope we get more Willow and Tristan as well. We haven’t seen enough of them. Also how does the aurora king come into play in all of this? Ugh so many questions.

The start was good. The ending was meh. How long can they walk around a castle looking for a crown? It felt like nothing happened and all it did was make me like the characters less. Also, please stop calling her “inmate.”
