This book was good, like woah! I loved all the characters
Great Read!
The author did a great job bringing you into the life of the characters. You really care about each one and want to see where everyone ends up. I can't wait to read the next story.

The sex talk is a bit raunchy for my taste and he talks entirely too much about his "throbbing member" and compares her body to food too damn much. But overall, I enjoyed it. It was a quick, steamy read.
good. too many chapters about side characters. even the epilogue was of two side characters

The character in this book and the details made this story such a good book. I wasn’t happy about the details for the end and how all love stories try to lead to having to be tied down and have a baby and/or family but good set up for the other books and acceptable character development.
Interracial Romance A to Z Challenge: S
#PopsugarReadingChallenge2019
Prompt - A book with a title that contains "salty", "sweet", "bitter", or "spicy"
A RomCom that started off pretty decently and then went way off the rails. Two friends who are secretly in love with each other enter into a marriage of convenience when the heroine finds herself in trouble with an ex. The hero, not missing a chance to finally get the woman he loves, suggests they get married for a short time, while secretly pledging to win her heart during their marriage. Romantic hijinks ensue as they learn they've been in love with each other for years, while his two brothers and her two best friends also embark on romances of their own.
What's not to like, right? Well, I'll tell you. The damn writing. Listen, I like smut with the best of them, but the old saying "a little goes a long way" would have been appreciated here. Also, you can show that two people have a fiery intensity when their personalities clash without making them both annoying assholes just trying to out-annoy each other (and the reader).
Apart from that, the stilted dialogue, the childish secondary characters, and my general desire for the damn story to be over by 70%, it wasn't a complete waste of my time. I will probably check out the other books in the series, because I'm sure the brothers/friends are getting their own books, just to see how the series progresses. But don't hold me to that promise. ;)
