This story is about our Jinni, Sidra. She’s been on the run and trapped in a town far longer than any of our other characters. Convicted for murder, she helped Elena & Yvette escape in book 1, but has yet to figure out the circumstances on why she can’t leave the city. With her friends at her side on a journey to figure out her curse we meet several new characters, reconnect with the ones we had met previously, and learn of the Perfume Witches. This story was the most mystical of the three, I lend this to the dual narrators, and the magic that surrounds jinni. This story is a little more than 8 hours, fast & evenly paced, and very enjoyable.

This is the final book in The Vine Witch series and a good completion to the story. Lots of magic and the exotic enchantment of other cultures.

The switching of point of view was confusing at times, and there were places where it felt a little slow, but overall this was a richly detailed book with a good story.
