I really enjoyed this book with Wolfe and Dana. Although there was a crazy person who was stalking them, this book still managed to have many lighthearted, quirky, funny, sweet, and romantic moments.

I also thought it was interesting how Wolfe and Dana's cases ended up having the point of intersection and gradually being revealed to be the same case. I knew it was going to happen, but didn't know how.

I really like the Team, including Roscoe and Kat. I have liked Wolfe's character from the beginning of the series. He makes each book that much more interesting. His pursuit of Rock in this book had a good amount of tension and suspense.

I was surprised at Dana. Knowing what she knew, and finding out about her friend, I never felt like she took enough precautions. I did enjoy that little twist at the end.

This book gives you a bit of everything. I like the narration. The narrator pulled me completely into the story and made me forget their was one person narrating all of the roles. I would definitely recommend this book as well as this series.

Wolfe and Dana's story was a roller coaster ride of adventure, romance, and suspense. You never knew when the enemy would pop up or if there was more than one enemy. Love the cohesiveness of the Deep Ops team members. Doing the work this group does demands and "all for one and one for all" approach, even though sometimes they have to be coaxed into it. Still in love with Roscoe and Kat, their scenes are always at the right moment and Rebecca truly gives them the right reactions to the situations that unfold.

3.75 - not as good as Hidden but better than Fallen. This is a great little series. I’m enjoying myself.

An action pact, steamy romance with a deadly psychopath out to end them at all costs. Dana is working hard to figure out what happened to her bestfriend, following any and all leads where ever they take her. Life and death situations won't deter her or convince her not to continue on, no matter how much Wolfe might wish otherwise.
Wolfe had been on the tale of his old team mate since he killed their entire team and stole the drugs they were supposed to dispose of. The ruthless psychopath will not stop until everyone Wolfe knows is used against him, which is why he refuses to get close to anyone. Those pesky feelings however can creep up on you no matter how much you wish they wouldn't. Steamy, action pact thriller that will keep you on the edge of your seat!

Clarence Wolfe's is his own special brand of crazy. After his entire unit was taken out with a land mine he is out for revenge against the man responsible. What better place to hide that with the other misfits of the Deep Ops team. Until all hell breaks loose at a sex club with the death of Wolfe's lead.

Freelance reporter Dana Mulberry is on the trail of a story of her murderer friend. The pieces are coming together slowly and have led her to a completely unexpected place, a private sex club. And even more shocking is Wolfe in leather pants taking her to task. Their friendship is about to get blown apart as danger catches them and forces barriers to come down. Now to uncover the clues before it's too late

OMG !!

SpoilerENFIN UNE PREUVE DE VIE !! Jolie référence à Sherlock d'ailleurs =D
)

AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH ><

OMG !! A long awaited and so AWESOME book !! Devoured way too fast <3

I am far from unbiased since I love the other books by Rebecca Zanetti but this series is my favorite <3 Each book is better than the previous one and I was looking forward to this one as it concerned one of my favorites (Wolfe <3) even if I was not too convinced by Dana in the previous books ... And finally I SO love her !!

What I particularly liked :
- writing style with a perfect balance between humor, romance, detective story and dramas !!
- the multiple plots that I loved : the murder of
SpoilerDana's friend
, the drug trade, the schemes of
SpoilerWolfe's former brother in arms and psychopath
(I loved this game of cat and mouse and also to have his point of view !!) and of course always in the background, the serial killer who is supposed to be dead that Angus is tracking (
SpoilerFINALLY A PROOF OF LIFE !! Nice reference to Sherlock elsewhere =D
)
- the huge highlight of this series : the characters !! I loved the main characters (Wolfe my favorite that I loved in this book, a character so human with his little habits (coffee with whipped cream and sprinkles <3), his fears and his passions but also Dana that I have finally adored (her family I adored, her provocative side etc)) but also the secondary characters (the new ones like Jethro whom I can't wait to see again (I want a book on him !!) and the old ones especially with Nari and Angus (I can't wait to have their book, all this tension ... <3) Special mention for Roscoe and Kat (I was so scared when
SpoilerRoscoe gets shot
!! And I laughed so much at the wedding xD))
- this first sex scene with whipped cream ... OMG <3 I fell in love at this precise moment ><

In short, a book even more great than the previous ones which were already great ... For fans of suspense romances and original and endearing characters, MUST READ ABSOLUTELY <3
PS: THE NEXT BOOK IS ABOUT ANGUS AND NARI !!! AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH ><

This is book three of the Broken Ops series.Clarence Wolfe and reporter Dana Mulberry finally have to confront the sexual tension that has been building between them when the two cases they are investigating seem to converge.

Wolfe has been a very mysterious and contrary character throughout the series, and his story was highly anticipated. He did not disappoint. He was the same combination of stubborn, yet caring, soldier that we have come to love.

There was plenty of action, and steamy romance. The other members of the team were all there (yay!), and Roscoe and Kat stole the show as usual.

Wolfe had an old nemesis breathing down his neck, and Dana’s story led her to be in his sights. Wolfe was the typical protective alpha (that we expected him to be), but it was stifling in some parts. A lot of these heroes tend to bend their own rules when confronted with their honey’s wants, but Wolfe didn’t have a lot of give when it came to Dana. Dana didn’t back down necessarily, but she seemed to be doing most of the adjusting in the relationship. We all know that Wolfe has a softer side to him, and I really enjoyed learning more about him in this book.

A few new characters were introduced and they were fun and interesting.

A great addition to the series, and I’m looking forward to the next one.

Thank you to Kensington Books and Netgalley for providing me with an ARC. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
