I really enjoyed reading this!! It's always nice reading about LGBTQIAP+ people in different countries, specifically Japan, where it's still super conservative, but you can definitely see changing winds, even with all the setbacks (I believe same-sex marriage was banned once again, unfortunately). I can't wait for the next volume!

This book was very strange. It felt like the author couldn't decide whether it wanted to be informative about basic LGBT+ information or smut and so the text switched between both modes frequently without work being done to bridge between them. Every time a character walked on screen they would immediately announce their gender and sexuality and explain what the terms meant, even when it wasn't necessarily pertinent to the conversation at hand, sex scenes were intercut with emotional conversations and realizations of sexuality with little done to make the shift seem natural, and characters seem to exist only as their sexuality/gender identity with little other depth. The conversations about gender were shallow, the way the sex was written wasn't hot, and (if you somehow found it in you to like them) characters disappear off page the moment they get to experience happiness for the first time, leaving their narrative potential unfulfilled. In the earlier stories, there is some dubious consent that goes undiscussed. It will leave you unsatisfied in every way - pick up anything else.

I will say that I picked this up thinking to would be something that delved deeper into gender expression and sexuality. The stories are very shallow, though, and it almost seems like an excuse for the sex scenes to happen, which happen almost immediately after the people meet. But maybe that's just how sex clubs and other places like that work, I don't know. Maybe the stories will get more explanation or depth in the other two volumes, but there wasn't much substance to this one beyond a kind of "beginners dictionary to queerness."

A really wholesome, yet spicy, manga, that beautifully explores different sexualities and gender identities. Despite it being short, and often characters only getting one chapter, you can really see the development of each character and get an insight into their lives. Excited to pick up the second volume

**SPOILERS ILL BE TALKING ABOUT THE WHOLE MANGA**
Also can I just say, the close up faces on the characters were stunning like the art is so pretty man! I'm surprised no one has talked much about this manga yet, it is really good despite with the few hiccups I mentioned here.
HAPPY PRIDE MONTH TO ALL!
