There was a lot to like about this book. As usual, Ms. Meyer has an engaging writing style that pulls you into the story immediately.
As someone who has watched almost all of the Salem Witch trial documentaries and movies, I already knew most of what was happening in that timeline. It was sobering watching it play out and how helpless people were to change things.
The aviation storyline in 1912 was interesting, but what I loved most about the book was the sisters' faith journey as they learned that God works all things for His glory, even when His plans are not our own. The romance was sweet and made me a bit anxious a few times seeing how it was going to play out.
The book was an interesting, fast-paced read with sweet romance, and had wonderful character development and personal growth in their faith.
*I received an ARC. All opinions are my own.

I’ve really been enjoying this series. The characters in this story were very likable. After reading this book, I’m really curious if the people who lived in Salem during the witch trials had the mental acuity of moronic juveniles. That part of the book really bored me, but the rest was pretty good. I’m looking forward to the next one.

I stayed up late to finish this book, so this review will not be eloquent. I was totally engrossed by the story and couldn't put it down. Characters, writing, plot, twists, faith content, setting, historical content; everything is top notch. One of the best in the series!

I started this story last night and was lucky to be able to finish it this morning. Oh, what a book!! This series is just so captivating and un-put-down-able. I’m still thinking about it and partially wish I hadn’t finished it so quickly, but I don’t know that that would have been possible. I had to have my questions answered!
Gabrielle Meyer handles these two time periods beautifully, from the horrors of the Salem Witch Trials to the early days of aviation, I learned so much and truly felt like I was visiting the history.
I loved both Grace and Hope. I loved their different voices and arcs in the story. I had a couple ideas of how things might go going into the story but I was surprised! Everything worked out so perfectly- not without heartache but certainly as if guided by God- who works all things for the good of those who love him, even if it’s not what we thought we wanted.
I truly love this series more than words can fully express. I’m so impressed by Meyer’s creativity and ability to bring these stories to life.

I couldn't decide if this got 4 or 5 starts. It's more like 4.5. BUT this one has some pretty good twists that I loved, so I gave it a full 5.
