Oh where do I start with this one??
I adore this series and was so excited for this one, however my trepidations of Hope and Grace’s stories being equally balanced and fleshed out came to fruition and sadly just didn’t work for me most of the time.
Libby and Maggie had such wonderful and evolving stories in their stand alone books. But here, I just didn’t think either of the girls’ storylines were realistic or fleshed out. While I definitely saw myself in Grace and my sister in Hope, both girls just really didn’t feel fully realized to me. Could be the split perspectives but they just had so much potential and I feel like I didn't get enough time with them. Choices made toward the end felt rushed and almost unbelievable to me. These girls have a crazy whiplash when it comes to changing opinions and decisions.
Let's talk about the romance. Gray (from book 2) stays at the top of my list and it's not even close. While Luc gave me moments of butterflies and actually made sense with the sister he ends up with, Isaac felt paper thin. The structure was very different and while it aided in keeping me guessing, it really hampered the main romantic plots because we didn’t get to see the start of either relationship in a way that would build to something believable or swoon worthy. You're just left feeling a little icky and confused.
This is definitely my least favorite in the series but I continue to love this premise and am ecstatic for Caroline’s story coming this November.

Excellent book! I started this as an audiobook and hated it. I kept reading how people loved it and could not understand. Last week I got the paperback and started reading it and it was wonderful! Love the plot and all the unexpected twists and turns. It's part 3 of a series and I have read the previous books but I feel this one can be a standalone. But I highly recommend the first 2 books also. And there will be a 4th! I can't wait!
For a Lifetime is a gripping time travel book by Meyer. This is the third book in the series and I think it’s my favorite. Grace and Hope are twins that live in 1692 and 1912. I had a hard time not reading ahead to find out what was going to happen to them during the Salem witch trials. In 1912, I wondered if they would survive the Titanic. I loved the twist and turns in the story, it kept me hooked to the end. I also liked that the faith of the characters was strong and believable. I can’t wait until the next book comes out.
