Scotland here we come!

Brandon and Mack are off to Scotland to help Eli and her men in a crazy case of ghosties all congregating in one place to hide from an unknown being. In Scotland we meet Lachlan and sign me up for of his story now! Such a fun exciting tale and thanks for bringing in Scotish mythology!

Nope, can't do it. I'm Scottish and I don't speak like I belong on a pirate ship or like Groundskeeper Willie's cousin. We be, I be, he be. What is with that? I've never met a Scot who would use that phrasing, We'll be or I'll be would be more accurate, but even then the words am, are or is would fit better. This book has a major lack of 'L' s apparently. I only reached 13% and had to stop. Sad, as I enjoy AJ usually. Onto the next, as long as it's not set in Scotland. I'll be skipping this one (see what I did there?)

I'm 13% in and can't stand it anymore.

The continual: 'he be', 'I be', 'she be' from just about every Scottish character in the hotel so far. Argh! It's grating.

Did the author perhaps forget to add the 'll on to the pronouns? That would sound more familiar. Everything else sounded ok apart from that.

I generally like these stories and this author so I'll try the next book, as long as it's not based in Scotland.

This had everything: love, laughter, danger, new and old friends, and a gorgeous setting. I really liked everything but the impossible shower sex scene

The accents were bad but more woke stuff?

DNF the accents were just horrid to read and the introduction with what pronouns we're all using? Nope. This series has gone so far downhill it's not worth it. It used to be about the ghosts, now we have everything from every corner being stuffed into our faces. Big nope.
