In addition to the gloriousness that is the slow walk through each beautiful season on Prince Edward Island, this book in the series marks the pivotal turn from Anne's childhood into her adult life. I loved spending time at Patty's Place with Aunt Jesmina, Rusty, and all of Anne's college chums. Our intrepid heroine rejects not one, but three marriage proposals before finally arriving at the long-awaited moment.. Gilbert's proposal to Anne is the BEST in all of literature and you cannot convince me otherwise. "There would never be anyone for me but you" leaves me in an absolute puddle and I believe there may never be anyone for me but Gilbert Blythe.

D’un livre à l’autre Anne grandit, s'assagit, observe avec passion la vie et ses changements. Elle passe d’enfant, à étudiante, d’étudiante à institutrice et redevient étudiante tout en se cherchant et en cherchant l’amour, mais en commençant pas une grande question. Qu’est-ce que l’amour et comment le reconnaître. C’est toujours poétique, léger et super facile à lire. En même temps, c’est très pudique, mais nous ne vivions pas à la même époque, c’est sûr, et c’est très romantique.
