Part Deux,
Simply refer to my review of 'Assassin's Blade' to read most of my reasoning, but Scott McGough is a lazy hack. 'Torment' wasn't bad and brought a nice edge to the MtG books, but after that he really just churned out garbage like this.
There is no artistry in this book, its full of stock characters and his interpretation of the storyline seems to be that he liked the artwork on some of the cards...there's nothing here, when the plot gets slow he throws in a an elder dragon legend (spoiler alert, my heavens) and that's that.
