it is SO cruel that the second book in this duo isn’t set to be out for a little while. I thoroughly enjoyed this book! It had me on the edge of my seat, I needed to know what was next every second. I LOVE the way that the witches need blood to do magic- i’ve read a lot of magic / witch themed books and it’s really awesome to see the things we think we know change and adapt as far as witch lore goes. can’t wait for the next one!

I am unable to tell if I consumed this book or it consumed me.
I read through it in a single sitting, feverishly searching through the kindle store for a second book, heartbroken to find that I have to wait.
This book will make you cry, it will make you want to shout at the characters and it will tear at your heartstrings.
