I still loved this series the second time round - the characters are just amazing and I really did enjoy it. I was disappointed by the end of this book though. It felt like the last 10% was pure set up for a new series (that we haven't seen yet?) and felt entirely separate from the story.

Things I LOVED
#1 All the romances!! Literally every couple in this series is so beautiful. There was no insta-love, no ridiculous pairings and (almost?) no love triangle.
#2 Zuzana. This girl, honestly, is a dream. I NEED her to be real and to live with me.
#3 EVERYTHING. This series is so dense and gripping. It has such a rich world history, with incredibly defined character back-stories. It handles multiple POVs fantastically. The characters are all just beautiful little gems.
I'm just so sad this series is over!! However, the ending did set up the possibility for a sequel series, so here's hoping!

Perhaps my expectations were too high or I don’t do well paranormal invasions in the human world, or both, but I didn’t love this series. I expected a story of magic set in Prague but what I got did not meet my expectations. Except for those bits about the myths of the Stelians and Faerers, the third book did not leave a long-lasting impression on me.
It was so very good. The best conclusion. I cried all kinds of tears. I need more now please.

the ending lost me a bit (it definitely left room for future books) but i loved this series
As always, there was a rollercoaster of feels in this one. I was so worried at the end but it all worked itself out and I'm just totally blown away by how great it all was. I still can't believe it's over. The last twist seemed pretty late in the game and kind of overwhelming but I still loved the series. It will forever be one of my all time favorites! <3

Incredible. I LOVED this book. The whole series is my favourite I’ve read in years - I don’t know how it isn’t more well known. The writing is beautiful, the world build so gradually and fascinating, the characters just wonderful. I cried on the last page just because it was over. It was so constantly gripping and I was engaged by every storyline. It’s been a long time since I’ve read a fantasy series which was so well written and honestly this exceptional and original. A firm favourite that I will be recommending to everyone.
