In this instalment Edward, Lin and Envy are swallowed by Gluttony and must find a way out, Kind Bradley thwarts Mustang’s investigations and brings them to a halt and we learn the backstory of what happened on the front is the Ishbala War.

We definitely learned a lot in this volume. We now know a lot more about Roy Mustang and Hawkeye as well as some new information about The Truth. We also gain a new mystery when we learn that the sins’ father is not Hohenheim as first suspected, but someone who looks exactly like him.

Oh my GOD this part of the story is emotionally intense. Like obv I already know what happens but there’s slightly more than was included in the anime and it’s just OUCH. The right kind of ouch for this story. Akkhhh I cannot explain but these three are my favorite.
